Mail Attachment Files Update
Below is a list of file extensions you WILL NOT be able to send out.
.exe .cpl .pif .bat .com .ink .scr .hta
All files which are picture files or any type of document files can be sent.
Also effective today, all outgoing (smtp) mail must go through one of our servers
This will stop all "Zoombie" mailers from sending out mail to the internet.
If all isp's follow this proceedure our virus and spam issues would be almost nonexistent

Watch Your Phone Bill !
Several WorldConnX customers have notified us that they had extra charges on their phone bills. When they called Verizon they were told that they were calling an Erie number for Internet access. When the customer stated that they dialed a local number to connect to the Internet, Verizon said the local number was being rolled over to an Erie number.

We do not use any roll over number and nothing that we do would cause any of our Internet customers to have any additional charges on their regular phone bill. All our dial up Internet access is to local phone numbers and no charges should appear on your phone bill for internet access.

Other people who do not have any Internet access have told us that they were being charged for monthly Internet access on their Verizon phone bill.

Please check your phone bills and make sure you do not have additional charges for Internet access.

If you contact Verizon make sure you write down the date, who you talked to and their extension number in case the charges are not removed.
